Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse operations, which include managing personnel, overseeing inbound and outbound freight movement, and responding to customer inquiries. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including training and performance management
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of all inbound and outbound freight
  • Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, and shipping information
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to minimize workplace hazards and promote a culture of safety
  • Supervise the proper handling, storage, and maintenance of mini excavators and their parts
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and report on warehouse performance to senior management
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience leading, developing, and mentoring staff with an emphasis on facility/site operations
  • 5 years of experience in distribution or warehouse management setting
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High proficiency in use of Microsoft 365, mostly Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with data entry, inventory software, and systems
  • Previous experience with heavy equipment or machinery, specifically mini excavators and their parts, is highly preferred but not necessary
  • Certification in forklift operation and other relevant equipment
