Job Summary

As an Optician at EssilorLuxottica, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through optical sales and service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our retail business.

Main Responsibilities

Create an exceptional customer experience by providing personalized service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our optical products and services to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
Collaborate with Store Management to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to drive Rx expansion and overall business growth.
Foster a culture of learning and development within the team, ensuring all members become experts in our optical products and services.
Engage with the local community to attract new customers and build relationships that drive business growth.

Requirements

Current State Optician License
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
1+ years of retail sales experience
Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication skills (verbal & written), including strong relationship building skills
Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room
Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.
Physical activities include engaging in repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, twisting, stretching, squatting, pushing, pulling, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, reaching and/or using a step stool on a frequent basis
