Assistant Director Admissions

Job Summary:
The University of North Carolina Pembroke seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Director Admissions. This key role is responsible for developing and executing the strategic recruitment plan for Undergraduate Admission, supporting new student recruitment efforts through the execution of the territory management strategy and evaluation of admission decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the full admissions funnel for an assigned territory, including inquiries, applicants, accepted and enrolled students.
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive marketing, recruitment and admissions plan that includes targeted advertising, travel, campus visitation programs, scholarship awards, and written and telephonic communications.
- Collect, analyze and interpret data to inform recruitment strategies and evaluate admission decisions.
- Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus events, including college fairs, high school private visits and special programs.
- Serve as University Ambassador for special programs sponsored by the Chancellor's Office, Academic Affairs, Advancement, Student Affairs, University and Community Relations, Business Affairs, Athletics and other areas as requested.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with significant experience in recruitment, admissions or student services.
- Direct experience in Undergraduate Admissions setting, relatable experience with transfer and freshmen student populations, and/or experience in a fast-paced customer service driven environment with experience meeting key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data using the results to implement future programs, plans and strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in territory management or sales.
