Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Systems Specialist to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our company's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including wired and wireless systems, and be able to analyze and resolve connectivity issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and troubleshoot network systems to identify and resolve connectivity issues
  • Install, terminate, and maintain various network cabling infrastructure, including patch panels and cable management systems
  • Collaborate with the team to improve network design and connectivity
  • Perform routine network maintenance, including hard drive installation and replacement
  • Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure hardware, including PDU's, computers, switches, routers, and other transport equipment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in IT or a related field
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including wired and wireless systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and layer 1 connectivity issues
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Education and Experience:

Certification: CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+) OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, Ladder & Scaffold Safety, Fire Extinguisher Training

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Telecom industry or Information Technology discipline.
