We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale network infrastructure project for a government entity, supporting the implementation of a 1:1 initiative with 1 tablet per student.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the physical installation of wireless access points and controllers at school locations throughout Las Vegas, ensuring a seamless and efficient network setup. This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing physical installation of wireless access points and controllers at school locations
  • Upgrading network solutions to support the 1:1 initiative
  • De-installing and re-installing wireless access points and controllers as needed
  • Working with a variety of equipment manufacturers, including Cisco, Brocade, and Ruckus

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience installing network devices, with a strong understanding of cabling and network hardware. They will also be proficient in documentation and reporting, with experience using CA systems and Excel spreadsheets. A CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus.

This is a swing shift position, with 4 x 10 hour shifts per week, and flexibility is required to adapt to changing school schedules. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 2 weeks of vacation/PTO, a contract-to-hire opportunity after 6 months, and the chance to work with the latest wireless technologies.
