Cybersecurity Role at Criterion Systems

Criterion Systems is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to support our government customers in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be part of our Security Operation Center (SOC) team, working in a 24x7 environment. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor, deter, identify, and investigate computer and network intrusions. You will also be responsible for researching trends and countermeasures in computer/network security, including vulnerabilities, exploits, and malicious activity. Additionally, you will develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with computer network security techniques and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and analyze network and IDS information
* Log collection, analysis, correlation, and alerting
* Identification of suspicious/malicious activities
* Identification and tracking of malicious code
* Reporting malicious activity to client locations with recommendations for remediation
* Review and management of incident resolutions

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or related technical discipline
* Three (3) years of working experience in IT or cybersecurity
* Active Department of Energy (DOE) Q Clearance or Top Secret Security Clearance or Secret with an SSBI investigation or the ability to obtain a clearance
* US Citizenship required
