Network Architect

About the Role:
The Network Architect will play a key role in developing and designing the network infrastructure to support the business operations of Sphere Entertainment Corporation.
This technical position is responsible for defining architecture and engineering standards, leading mission-critical network design efforts, and developing network automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in enterprise network design and architecture, with a strong background in system platforms such as compute, storage, and data centers.
They will also have experience working with vendors such as Cisco and Palo Alto, and have a strong understanding of network security and security elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly resilient and failure-proof network solutions
- Develop network automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish technical strategies and architectural design standards
- Work with vendors to implement and support network infrastructure
- Design and implement virtual network services to support business applications and communication platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise network design and architecture
- Experience working with system platforms such as compute, storage, and data centers
- Experience working with vendors such as Cisco and Palo Alto
- Strong understanding of network security and security elements
