Accounting Administrator I Supervisor

Positions at the State Water Resources Control Board may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on the operational needs of the position.
**Currently, this position operates under a hybrid telework plan of three days in the office and two days of telework. The initial training period for this position will require the candidate to work 100% in the office.**
The Accounting Administrator I Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the Loans and Grants Unit, which is responsible for reconciling, encumbering, tracking, and issuing various payments for Loans and Grants invoices, purchase orders, STD215, Grant Request Form (GLRF), and agreements from multiple programs/funding sources.
Overtime during peak periods, such as year-end, may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the Loans and Grants Unit.
- Reconcile, encumber, track, and issue various payments for Loans and Grants invoices, purchase orders, STD215, Grant Request Form (GLRF), and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Must have Accounting Administrator I Supervisor list, transfer, or reinstatement eligibility and be reachable on the certification list.
- Must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license if the position requires driving.
