About the Role

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the development and control of predictive maintenance for plant machinery, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance department to ensure the performance of industrial equipment.
  • Develop and implement Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) strategies to increase the reliability and availability of workstations and production lines.
  • Lead people management, including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
  • Develop and control the predictive maintenance of plant machinery, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience in industrial automation, including hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, paint systems, control systems, mechanical systems, injection molding, and air pressure troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of raw forming and sheet metal stamping.
  • 5-10 years of experience as a continuous improvement engineer on the floor with hands-on experience in troubleshooting in an automation environment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical aspects.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisor or leadership position involving people and process management.
  • Experience providing technical guidance, even if the role does not involve heavy hands-on work.
  • Proficiency in professional and engineering PC applications.
