Job Summary

OhioHealth is seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Campaign Director to lead the strategic planning, management, and implementation of all fundraising campaign activities. This role will collaborate with the Vice President for Philanthropy, OhioHealth Foundation President, and hospital senior leaders to prioritize fundraising goals and objectives, and schedule the launch of the next campaign.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of major gift fundraising success and will work in collaboration with hospital leadership and dedicated fundraising volunteers. They will provide leadership and support to the Vice President for Philanthropy, OhioHealth Foundation President, and Campaign Chair and Co-Chairs, and direct and oversee the development of a campaign business plan, drive the development of the campaign structure, and direct the processes and metrics that will lead to a successful comprehensive campaign.

This role will also manage information sharing, transparency, coordination, and collaboration among OhioHealth Foundation colleagues and across the health system, and provide strategic direction for regular, internal campaign planning meetings, budget, timeline, and master campaign calendar.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of philanthropy in a complex environment, including analyzing and interpreting data to drive and assess campaign strategies, and will be able to build effective long-term relationships both internally and externally, and establish strong, interpersonal relationships with hospital system leaders, colleagues, and donors.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic planning, management, and implementation of all fundraising campaign activities
  • Collaboration with the Vice President for Philanthropy, OhioHealth Foundation President, and hospital senior leaders to prioritize fundraising goals and objectives
  • Development of a campaign business plan, campaign structure, and processes and metrics to lead to a successful comprehensive campaign
  • Management of information sharing, transparency, coordination, and collaboration among OhioHealth Foundation colleagues and across the health system
  • Providing strategic direction for regular, internal campaign planning meetings, budget, timeline, and master campaign calendar
  • Building effective long-term relationships both internally and externally, and establishing strong, interpersonal relationships with hospital system leaders, colleagues, and donors
