Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Operations Specialist to join our corporate office in Center City, Philadelphia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within the Innovation Department on various RN-led clinical initiatives, including clinical research projects, transition of care management, and clinical quality improvement efforts.
  • Engage with patients and their families or caregivers via phone to triage concerns, provide education, and address clinical inquiries.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring that patient charts are current and complete.
  • Work alongside corporate partners to enhance operational efficiency and troubleshoot technical issues related to patient equipment.
  • Encourage patient self-management through regular educational outreach and follow-up calls.
  • Evaluate patient symptoms, document communications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure timely patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of workflows aimed at boosting productivity, enhancing efficiency, and minimizing errors.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, processing medication refills, and other aspects of care coordination.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the RN project lead.

Qualifications

  • A clinical certification (such as certified Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or equivalent) or a bachelor's degree with a commitment to pursuing clinical certification.
  • Preferred experience of 1-2 years in patient interaction.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
