This position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring financial data related to research accounts in the School of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in financial reporting and grant management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to the Principal Investigator, Assistant Director of Finance and Administration, and Director of Operations.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in budget reconciliation, expense reimbursement, and grant reporting according to DU and funding agency guidelines.
- Provide regular budget monitoring to investigate charge variances with expected costs.
- Serve as the liaison for research accounting and purchasing.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of experience in financial support roles.
- Experience with financial reporting and grant management.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
