Position Available: Assistant Program Director

We are currently seeking empathetic and skilled mental health professionals to join our team at Red Clover Treatment Center.

This role presents a unique opportunity to positively influence the lives of our youth and contribute to a supportive community.

Role Overview:

As the Assistant Program Director, you will collaborate closely with the Program Director to address the needs of both staff and clients. Your commitment to fostering a safe and encouraging environment will be vital in supporting our residents' success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage actively in our residential treatment framework for youth.
  • Supervise and mentor youth in alignment with individual treatment plans and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate the structured daily routine of the residential program.
  • Coordinate and participate in recreational and educational activities.
  • Ensure that the personal needs of residents are met effectively.
  • Orient new residents upon their arrival.
  • Maintain professional communication with clinical staff and report critical incidents.
  • Document all services provided in a clear and professional manner.
  • Provide training and support to both new and existing staff members.
  • Manage schedules and ensure timely communication within the team.
  • Implement behavioral management and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Teach social skills and promote positive behaviors among residents.
  • Uphold professional boundaries and conduct with all residents and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the residential facility.
  • Supervise Youth Counselors and offer guidance as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Meet safe driver guidelines as established by the employer's insurance carrier.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree or 60 college credits, or:
  • High school diploma or GED with two years of full-time experience working with children, or a combination of human services credits and experience totaling two years, or seven years of parenting experience.
