Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children and families in a community mental health center outpatient program.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions to promote social skills, coping mechanisms, and emotional regulation.
  • Participate in case management and coordination of services to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • License eligible (MSW, LICSW, or LMHC preferred).
  • At least one year of experience providing psychotherapy to children and families.
Physical Requirements

The role may involve prolonged periods of sitting and standing during therapy sessions and administrative tasks. Effective verbal communication, including the ability to clearly convey information both in-person and over the phone, is essential. Basic manual dexterity to handle documentation and computer-related tasks is also required. Mobility to move within the office environment and between different work locations is necessary.
