Overview

Panasonic North America is seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join the Panasonic Risk Management Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and insurance, with a proven track record of solving complex business problems in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and service delivery of Panasonic Corporation of North America's Insurance Program.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and transfer.
  • Manage data collection and analysis to support risk management decisions.
  • Research and recommend new insurance and risk transfer products to support business objectives.
  • Support the negotiation strategy development and execution of annual renewal process.
  • Conduct contract review and recommend necessary changes to protect the company.
  • Prepare reports for senior management, including company claims reports and premium summaries.
  • Verify premium charges and allocate to appropriate operating company, business unit, etc.
  • Provide risk management guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and issue certificates of insurance and auto ID card requests.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with risk management information systems.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
