Key Responsibilities of the President

  • Work closely with CEO/founder Ryan Evans and the team to align organizational practices with strategic objectives
  • Direct strategic planning and implementation
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission
  • Maintain the founding vision of War on the Rocks
  • Foster a positive and innovative workplace culture
  • Identify and pursue new business avenues for revenue enhancement
  • Enhance and manage the technological infrastructure of the company
  • Lead financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Develop and sustain partnerships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Build and mentor a successful executive team
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adapt strategies as necessary

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess the right to work in the United States
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC metropolitan area
  • Demonstrated experience in management roles within the private sector, emphasizing team success
  • Strong financial insight and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Background in defense and national security
  • Experience in crisis management and technology integration initiatives
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain professional networks
  • Effective communication skills
