About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Manager-Histocompatibility to join our team at Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the laboratory and staff, ensuring the highest level of quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including selection, training, and performance evaluation
  • Plan and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain laboratory policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in histocompatibility testing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field
  • CHS (ACHI) certification or CHT certification with ability to obtain CHS within 18 months
  • 5 years' laboratory experience, at least 3 years of which must be in histocompatibility testing
