Maintenance Mechanic

Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and vendor installation manuals to determine work procedures.
- Dismantle and reassemble machines using hand tools and power tools.
- Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, and rollers.
- Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails.
- Construct foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials.
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools.
- Perform lubricating maintenance, cleaning activities, and repair of tools, machines, and equipment.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Apply shop mathematics to solve problems.
- Plan work and select proper tools.
- Compare and see differences in size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
- Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
- Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
- Perform a variety of duties, which may change often.
- Operate machinery.
- Work at heights without fear.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
