Millwright Technician Job Description

At Goodyear, we're looking for a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team. As a Millwright Technician, you'll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various machinery and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures
  • Interpret drawings related to the installation and operation of machinery and equipment
  • Work safely and follow all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Millwright Journeyman's card or 3 years equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $37.07
  • Night shift differential of $0.65
  • $1,000 sign-on bonus

Work Environment:

The job is located in Findlay, Ohio, and involves working in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. You'll be required to work in various areas of the factory and may be exposed to hot, cold, and noisy conditions.
