Position Overview: This role is integral to the Agri-Access lending program, providing exceptional client service to both internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities encompass transaction evaluation and documentation, systems accounting, reporting, portfolio management, and comprehensive client support. The position involves close collaboration with originators, third-party investors, direct borrowers, relationship managers, Financial Operations, and other Agri-Access team members throughout all stages of the loan and lease processes, including post-closing servicing, documentation, and final exit strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with originators or clients on complex servicing actions, identifying documentation deficiencies, title changes, account status, or borrower issues. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned accounts.
  • Assess and prioritize incoming service requests requiring credit approval, including changes to payment dates, maturity alterations, payment extensions, collateral releases, and more.
  • Execute delegated authorities such as conversions and assist with risk account management.
  • Conduct thorough research on a transactional basis for servicing actions.
  • Perform detailed reviews of unique lending partner documents, troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, acting as a liaison between Agri-Access and clients or third-party investors.
  • Provide high-quality service by addressing client inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Educate partner institutions and teams on program delivery and processes.
  • Update and maintain loan and lease data within origination and servicing systems.
  • Gather and monitor information for reporting purposes, including delinquency, rate resets, and UCC continuations.
  • Carry out various accounting procedures related to lender reconciliation, receipts, and payoffs.
  • Process loan and lease requests accurately and promptly, including initial analysis, data entry, documentation interpretation, and transaction closure.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a banking or lending environment.
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex loan structures, systems, and documentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Basic understanding of agricultural terminology.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
  • Valid driver's license required.
