Position Summary: The Loan Servicing Specialist for the Agri-Access program plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional client service to both internal and external stakeholders. This position involves comprehensive transaction analysis, documentation management, systems accounting, and ongoing portfolio support. The specialist collaborates closely with various teams, including originators, investors, and relationship managers, throughout all stages of the loan and lease processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with originators and clients to address complex servicing actions, ensuring accuracy in documentation and account status.
  • Assess and prioritize incoming service requests that require credit approval, including payment modifications and collateral releases.
  • Execute delegated authorities and assist with accounts that present risk factors.
  • Conduct thorough research to support servicing actions, utilizing both internal and external resources.
  • Review and troubleshoot unique documentation from lending partners, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a liaison between Agri-Access and external parties.
  • Provide high-quality responses to client inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Educate partner institutions and team members on program processes and delivery.
  • Update and maintain loan and lease data within servicing systems.
  • Gather and monitor information for reporting purposes, including delinquency and maturity data.
  • Perform various accounting tasks related to lender reconciliation and transaction processing.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a banking or lending environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload independently.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex loan structures and documentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient client service skills.
  • Basic understanding of agricultural terminology.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
