Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Housing Authority team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve housing services, supervising staff, and collaborating with community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve housing services, including budgeting and fiscal management.
  • Supervise and train staff, including resident services and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with community stakeholders, including residents, contractors, and government officials.
  • Participate in the management and operation of Housing Authority projects, including public housing programs and fair housing regulations.
  • Prepare and develop operating budgets and perform ongoing maintenance to achieve established goals within budgetary constraints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration or a related field.
  • Seven to nine years of progressively responsible experience in public housing or a closely related field, with two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of public housing administration methods and practices, including fair housing and equal opportunity regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to analyze data and compose clear and concise reports.
