Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Digital Print Production Specialist to join our team at Minuteman Press Redondo Beach. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the entire print production process, from digital file setup to finished product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Manage production workflow to ensure optimum productivity and output, meeting tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Print File Setup: Set up digital print files for printing, including imposition, checking fonts, links, bleeds, crops, and other file-related issues.
  • Graphic Design: Perform production graphic design tasks, including creating and editing print-ready files.
  • Bindery and Finishing: Operate bindery and finishing equipment, including cutters, drills, punches, folders, and perform hand finishing tasks.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify that completed projects meet Minuteman Press Redondo Beach quality standards.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and maintain inventory of paper, bindery supplies, toner, packing supplies, and other materials.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, orders, and quote requests.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Two years of experience in digital print production, bindery, and finishing (print shop or print center).
  • Skills: Knowledge of Fiery Command Workstation, experience with Adobe suite (Illustrator and InDesign), and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, excellent time-management skills, and ability to work independently and as a team member.
