We're seeking a talented Production Designer to join our Creative Team at Gigasavvy. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with art directors and designers to create stunning visual experiences.
  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for various types of printing.
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
  • Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation.
  • Packaging and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.
  • Create PDFs for print and client review.
  • Prepare images for online and mobile applications.
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time.
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer.
  • Present your ideas and concepts both internally and directly to clients.
  • Proactively communicate timelines and statuses of projects.
  • Ensure that brand voice, concepts, themes, and/or messaging are accurately represented in design.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree required (design concentration preferred).
  • 2-3+ years experience as Production Artist within a product company, design studio, creative agency, printing company, or print publication.
  • Experience with digital content such as websites, social media, rich media, online advertising, and email campaigns.
  • A passion for design and creative marketing.
  • A drive to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • A desire to seek inspiration and share that inspiration with others.
  • A humble and hungry attitude.
  • A proactive approach to addressing problems before they arise.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience with After Effects and Premiere is a bonus.
