We are currently seeking an Infusion Care Coordinator who is enthusiastic about enhancing the quality of infusion therapy.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Infusion Care Coordinator will play a vital role in our growth by:
- Managing the entire infusion referral process, including obtaining necessary authorizations and conducting financial counseling.
- Collaborating with referring providers to gather essential documentation for patient treatment and updating them on patient status.
- Providing clear and compassionate communication regarding the referral process to patients.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with referring and prescribing providers.
- Assisting in the management of medical inventory and office supplies.
- Receiving dedicated training for six weeks to ensure success in the role.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A strong passion for patient care and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Experience in the healthcare field is essential.
- Prior knowledge of infusion therapy is preferred.
- Experience with insurance prior authorizations and medical terminology.
- A solid understanding of medical insurance processes.
- The ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
