Position Overview
This role is pivotal in driving sales for professional liability insurance products, including coverage for accountants and lawyers, aimed at both new and existing clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in proactive outreach to generate new business through telephone and written communication.
- Evaluate client insurance requirements, determine existing coverage effective dates, and gather necessary applications for quoting.
- Achieve a minimum of 10 meaningful connections daily.
- Obtain Property & Casualty licensing if not already possessed.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of professional liability insurance features, articulating coverage specifics to clients while assessing their evolving needs.
- Identify and secure relevant direct sales opportunities.
- Maintain an organized database of contacts, including direct sales prospects and brokers, with attention to expiration dates.
- Compile reports on outreach efforts, quote requests, conversion rates, and written premiums within the CRM system.
Essential Skills
- Exceptional communication and telephone skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong goal orientation.
- Analytical thinking capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience is required.
- Experience in professional liability insurance is preferred.
- A degree is preferred.
