About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. As a Pulmonary and NeuroCritical Care APP, you will have the opportunity to work in our intensive care unit, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories on patients.
- Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests to assess patient problems and healthcare needs.
- Prescribe medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatments and procedures.
- Evaluate patients' responses to healthcare provided and the effectiveness of care.
- Counsel patients about medical processes, management of health illnesses/conditions, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
