About the Position

This is an excellent opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. We seek a highly skilled professional to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with respiratory disorders.

The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing the complex needs of pediatric patients with chronic and acute pulmonary conditions. A competitive salary of $120,000+ annually, commensurate with experience, is offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on disease management, prevention, and health promotion.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance pediatric pulmonary care.

Requirements:

  • Mastery degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Minimum one year of experience in inpatient pediatric pulmonary or PICU settings.
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (CPNP-AC) or Physician Assistant licensed by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
