Facilities Engineering Lead
Ensure the operational integrity and aesthetic appeal of the hotel through effective maintenance and repair strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Chief Engineer in the recruitment, training, scheduling, and mentoring of team members, ensuring adherence to established standards and alignment with company values.
Manage and oversee procurement processes for third-party service providers, including bids and contracts.
Supervise minor renovation projects and report on progress.
Perform installation and repair of drywall and other wall finishes.
Execute painting tasks for designated areas and furnishings.
Install and replace basic electrical components.
Set up, replace, and configure televisions.
Carry out minor plumbing repairs.
Replace and service heating and cooling systems, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed.
Troubleshoot and repair kitchen appliances.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and complete work orders as required; maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Refurbish and finish furniture and fixtures as necessary.
Test and maintain the hotel's life safety systems to ensure full operational capability at all times.
Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with service agreements.
Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations in all maintenance activities.
Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and strive to improve departmental and overall guest experiences.
Follow sustainability practices in line with the company's environmental initiatives.
Adopt safe working practices, utilizing protective equipment and adhering to safety standards.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or relevant vocational training preferred.
Prior experience in engineering or maintenance roles is essential or equivalent training.
Local or state certifications may be necessary.
Work Environment:
Work hours may vary, including weekends and holidays, and may require alternate shifts.
Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, climbing, and other physical activities.
