Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations, and drawings for a wide range of civil infrastructure initiatives, including water, wastewater, and stormwater design.
  • Use project management software to track project tasks and timelines, ensuring timely completion of project stages in accordance with project schedules.
  • Approach tasks with a project mindset, coordinating with other disciplines throughout the project duration, and propose innovative solutions to design problems.
  • Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules, and QC final work product.
  • Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review, and perform independent peer reviews on team work products.
  • Review contract plans and calculations from other engineering teams and outside entities to verify completion and compliance with governing infrastructure design codes and contract plans and specifications.
  • Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record for mid-size and miscellaneous infrastructure designs.
  • Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings, and attend and contribute to presentations with external parties.
  • Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates, providing technical proposal support, and participating in marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports, and labor hours management.
  • Take ownership of personal and team member career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals.
  • Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer In-Training (EI) - Preferred.
  • Years of Experience: 3+ years.
