About the Role

Hamilton Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including UL/CSA/IEC 61010, EN 61326, and FCC part 15.
  • Review and approve hardware designs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Represent Hamilton in regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Develop and maintain safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing procedures.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in compliance with UL/CSA/IEC 61010, EN 61326, and FCC part 15.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
