eDiscovery Litigation Technologist Employment Type:

Full-Time, Executive-Level Department: Legal CGS is in search of a committed eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to become part of a dynamic and diligent team dedicated to managing legal accounts.

Key Skills and Attributes for Success:
The Contractor will deliver litigation technology support, which includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: - Monitoring legislative changes that affect civil and criminal litigation to assess their implications on current FBI Discovery policies and procedures; - Keeping abreast of industry advancements to identify how new technologies or best practices can enhance FBI Discovery; - Ensuring that any proposed solutions to existing requirements adequately address the underlying needs; - Conducting testing of system upgrades or patches prior to deployment; - Confirming that any proposed solutions effectively deliver new functional business capabilities that meet one or more existing requirements; - Advising on the identification, preservation, collection, processing, and production of ESI in support of civil litigation, selected criminal matters, FOIA requests, Congressional inquiries, and other external requests using the current suite of FBI tools and processes; - Monitoring daily separation reports to identify departing legal hold custodians and ensuring proper preservation of materials subject to legal hold requirements; - Updating and/or creating standard operating procedures for the ETA role; - Providing a robust technical background in the use of electronic discovery applications along with a strong legal background and expertise in electronic discovery applications. Qualifications:
  • 5 (five) years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience focused on client solutions.
  • 3 (three) years of progressively responsible experience on major litigation support projects.
  • 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile work environment.
  • Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all aspects of the EDRM (File to Trial).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).
