Key Skills and Responsibilities:
The Contractor will provide litigation technology assistance, including but not limited to the following tasks: - Monitor legislative changes affecting civil and criminal litigation to assess their implications on current FBI Discovery policies and procedures; - Analyze the commercial sector to identify how emerging technologies or best practices can enhance FBI Discovery; - Ensure that any proposed solutions effectively address the underlying requirements; - Conduct testing of system upgrades or patches prior to deployment; - Confirm that any proposed solutions successfully deliver new functional business capabilities that meet existing requirements; - Advise on the identification, preservation, collection, processing, and production of ESI in support of civil litigation, selected criminal matters, FOIA requests, Congressional inquiries, and other external requests using the current suite of FBI tools and processes; - Review daily separation reports to identify departing legal hold custodians and ensure the proper preservation of materials subject to legal hold requirements; - Update and/or develop standard operating procedures for the ETA role; - Provide a robust technical background in electronic discovery applications along with a strong legal foundation and expertise in these applications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with an emphasis on client solutions.
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience on major litigation support projects.
- 2 years of experience in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile work environment.
- Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services encompassing all stages of the EDRM (File to Trial).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Capability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).
