Key Responsibilities

The Construction Project Executive is tasked with the comprehensive management of significant projects, guiding the project teams to ensure successful outcomes with all construction partners.

  • Direct reporting to the Director of General Contracting.
  • Act as the primary representative of the company, fostering and expanding relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing their expectations effectively.
  • Guarantee that project performance and delivery surpass client expectations.
  • Oversee all project commitments and ensure follow-through.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities with architects, engineers, brokers, and other associated personnel.
  • Engage in bid proposal kick-off meetings and assist in managing proposal responses.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in financial management and profitability for projects.
  • Participate in project acquisition and define budgets to meet profitability goals.
  • Set milestones and assign qualified staff to manage project scope and complexity.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, owners, architects, and subcontractors to build relationships that exceed expectations.
  • Ensure effective resource management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and train staff to meet or exceed company standards.
  • Represent the company to owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate projects for unique challenges impacting budget and profitability.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between preconstruction and operational teams.
  • Monitor project performance and address any issues proactively.
  • Attend all necessary meetings to oversee project profitability.
  • Recruit and develop talent to ensure effective project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Over 10 years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated passion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proactive leadership and initiative.
  • Strong team-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build client confidence for future project opportunities.
