Position Overview:

The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all Owner requirements regarding inspections and reporting.
  • Evaluate product submittals and confirm that approved materials are being correctly installed on-site.
  • Revise all as-built documents to reflect approved field modifications, addendums, RFIs, or design sketches.
  • Conduct quality control and manage the punch list process effectively.
  • Resolve design discrepancies and assist with RFIs.
  • Help prepare daily reports and capture daily project photographs.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports and as-built records.
  • Assist in conducting building inspections.
  • Support the ordering of materials and the scheduling of deliveries.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of all subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Timely follow-up on inquiries.
  • Ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 0-3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in Commercial, Multi-family, or Hospitality sectors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and travel for meetings, training, or other business-related events.
