Key Responsibilities

The Construction Project Executive plays a pivotal role in overseeing large-scale projects, leading project teams, and ensuring successful collaboration with all construction partners.

  • Report directly to the Director of General Contracting.
  • Act as the primary representative of the company, fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure consistent project performance and delivery.
  • Oversee all project commitments and ensure follow-through.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities with architects, engineers, and other relevant parties.
  • Engage in bid proposal meetings and manage proposal responses.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in financial management and profitability of projects.
  • Assist in project acquisition and budget development.
  • Set milestones and assign qualified staff for project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project resources from initiation to closeout, ensuring client satisfaction and budget adherence.
  • Ensure effective transition of project operations to Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Mentor and train staff to meet company standards.
  • Represent the company to various stakeholders including owners and consultants.
  • Participate in understanding unique client needs to secure future projects.
  • Review projects for challenges impacting budget and profitability.
  • Assign project management staff in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Review and approve pre-mobilization activities.
  • Ensure smooth turnover between Preconstruction and Operations teams.
  • Monitor project management and quality review processes to meet budget objectives.
  • Regularly visit project sites to assess performance and address challenges.
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships and address any concerns.
  • Attend necessary meetings to oversee project profitability.
  • Ensure project management staff receive appropriate training.
  • Recruit and develop qualified talent to align with project needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated passion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proactive leadership and initiative.
  • Strong team-building capabilities.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to excellence.
