Position Overview:

The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting the Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Owners to fulfill reporting and inspection requirements.
  • Examine product submissions and verify that approved materials are correctly installed on-site.
  • Revise all as-built documentation to reflect approved changes, addendums, RFIs, or design modifications.
  • Conduct quality assurance and manage the punch list process effectively.
  • Resolve design inconsistencies and assist with RFIs.
  • Help prepare daily reports and capture daily site photographs.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports and as-built records.
  • Support building inspections as needed.
  • Assist in procuring materials and coordinating delivery schedules.
  • Oversee and coordinate activities of subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Timely follow-up on inquiries.
  • Ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 0-3 years of experience in the construction field, preferably in Commercial, Multi-family, or Hospitality sectors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift up to 25 pounds and travel for meetings, training, or other business-related events.
