This role involves overseeing the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure general safety and health throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will also assist in adapting and implementing policies and procedures as they pertain to project requirements, safety, health, industrial hygiene, and environmental concerns to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize occupational illnesses and injuries.
  • Collaborate with departments to create action plans to reduce or eliminate occupational hazards through Job Safety Assessments (JSAs).
  • Conduct daily safety audits to reinforce good safety practices and identify potential hazards, ensuring prompt correction.
  • Perform safety inspections and provide corrective actions.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent technical training through organizations such as OHST, CHST, COSH, ASP, or CSP. A working knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926 standards is also required.
