Job Summary:

We are looking for a Litigation Support Specialist to join our collaborative legal team. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage deeply in the litigation process and client service. Our seasoned professionals are committed to mentoring and guiding individuals who demonstrate potential and a desire to learn. You will have the chance to participate actively in trials, supporting attorneys while also undertaking responsibilities typical of a legal secretary or office manager. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform front desk duties, including answering calls and managing visitor inquiries.
  • Efficiently handle scheduling and document management tasks.
  • Request and track medical records as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus.
  • Gather and present information clearly, particularly in organizing medical records and documentation.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
  • Follow cases from start to finish, initially learning the process and eventually managing independently.
  • Draft legal documents, request medical records, and maintain professional correspondence with clients and other legal representatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and initiative in task execution.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in technology and adaptable to various software applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exhibit a growth-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • While prior legal experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
  • Willingness to work in a close-knit practice setting.
  • Quick learner capable of adapting to new responsibilities.
