Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Oncology Infusion Center, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient condition.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.
