Ambulatory Infusion Center Nurse Practitioner PRN

NuCara Pharmacy is seeking a part-time/PRN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) for the Ambulatory Infusion Center in Austin, TX.

The ideal candidate will have experience with administering infusion therapies, case management, and two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an infusion or office setting.

Responsibilities include supervising infusions, chart review, initial patient outreach calls, sharing clinical engagements, engaging with pharma reps, and providing patient education.

The Nurse Practitioner will also use prescriptive authority to order emergency or PRN medications and participate in all levels of patient care, including central line maintenance, peripheral line insertion, PICC line maintenance, and administering therapy.

Requirements include being registered with Medicare and having an active PTAN identifier, keeping credentialing up to date, and ensuring payer contract validity.
