Job Title: Semiconductor Wet Process Engineer Lead

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Wet Process Engineer Lead to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and executing process development efforts, improving product yield, and developing new processes and device capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute process development efforts to improve product yield and develop new processes and device capabilities.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure high-quality semiconductor devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in semiconductor processing techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience, or a PhD and a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques such as photo lithography, dry etching, wet etching, plating, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD in STEM.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques in wet etch, wet cleans, and plating process areas.
  • Experience working in a controlled, cleanroom environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting a diverse set of fabrication equipment and establishing equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures.
