Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Code Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronic Solutions Department at Raytheon. As a key member of our team, you will provide process and manufacturing engineering support for our microelectronics foundry in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor, including dispositioning wafers and reviewing in-line electrical data trends.
  • Investigate scrap and rework events using root cause tools and approaches.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including recipes, out-of-control action plans, and FMEAs.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering staff in dynamic team settings.
  • Manage changing projects and priorities depending on the nature of the problems and commitments to customers or other project leads.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' of prior work experience.
  • Experience with semiconductor processing tools and techniques, including photolithography, wet and dry etching, metals evaporation, metrology tools, and/or automated inspection systems.
  • Experience with semiconductor device structures and their electrical characteristics.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with III-V compound semiconductor devices, such as Gallium Nitride and Gallium Arsenide HEMTs and SLS IR detectors.
  • Experience with characterizing, understanding, and improving semiconductor device quality and reliability.
  • Communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas and data effectively.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate technical projects with diverse and cross-functional teams.

Clearance Information

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
