Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Process Development Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of new processes and methods applied in the manufacturing, fabrication, and evaluation of semiconductors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new or modified processes and methods to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement criteria and formats for hardware and process evaluations.
  • Analyze and present experimental data to stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Compile and analyze test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
  • Assist in the recommendation and interpretation of physical and chemical behaviors as part of process characterization.
  • Become familiar with semiconductor processing techniques through literature and hands-on learning.
  • Prepare and present a final project report to stakeholders.
  • Complete safety training to work in the TEL process lab.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Nanoscience or Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields.
  • Experience with Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiment methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work in teams as well as individually.
  • Experience working safely in a laboratory environment with hazardous chemicals.
  • Ability and desire to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary and diverse team.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements:

Job duties may be performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds may be required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional overnight travel to TEL factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required.
