About Your Role:
You will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking meals according to established recipes. Your attention to detail will ensure that each meal meets our high standards, contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and serving areas
  • Planning cooking schedules to ensure timely meal service
  • Conducting routine temperature checks and taste tests to maintain food quality
  • Setting up food in serving areas and replenishing as necessary
  • Controlling portion sizes during preparation and serving
  • Managing leftover perishables to minimize waste
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

About You:
You possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate flexibility, compassion, and reliability. Previous experience in assisted living or memory care environments is advantageous, but all candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

  • One to two years of experience in institutional or restaurant settings
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers, residents, and families
  • Able to address inquiries or concerns from various sources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic math skills for routine calculations
  • Ability to make straightforward decisions affecting the immediate work area
