Role Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking meals according to established recipes for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your contributions will ensure that every meal is a delightful experience for our residents.

Your Duties Include:

  • Ensuring cleanliness of large kitchen equipment in preparation and serving areas.
  • Planning cooking schedules to ensure timely meal service.
  • Maintaining product quality through routine temperature checks and taste tests.
  • Setting up food in serving areas and replenishing as necessary.
  • Managing portion control during food preparation and serving.
  • Checking perishable items in storage and planning their use.
  • Performing additional related tasks as assigned.

About You: You possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate flexibility, compassion, and reliability. Experience in assisted living or memory care settings is advantageous, but all candidates are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:

  • One to two years of experience in institutional or restaurant settings.
  • Strong communication skills with co-workers, residents, and family members.
  • Ability to address inquiries or concerns from both internal and external sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic math skills for routine calculations.
  • Capability to make straightforward decisions that impact the immediate department.
