Role Summary:

The Deputy Clerk plays a crucial role in the administrative functions of the court system. Responsibilities include the preparation of comprehensive court documents in line with established protocols, managing data entry within an automated case management system, scheduling court matters, drafting correspondence, filing legal documents, and preparing daily dockets.

Additional duties encompass answering telephone inquiries, assisting clients at the service counter, processing fines and costs, and managing payment receipts. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to multitask and take on further responsibilities as directed by management.


Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The most competitive candidates will possess substantial experience in court operations, business administration, or related office environments.

Applicants should exhibit strong organizational skills and possess significant knowledge in personnel management, time management, and performance oversight. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with advanced proficiency in office automation systems and software, are essential.


Preferred Experience:

Experience within a court setting and handling financial transactions is preferred.
