About the Role

Energetics, a division of CLEAResult, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Energy and Emissions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of clean energy strategies for industrial decarbonization in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data-related research for industrial energy and emissions analysis, including reviewing and synthesizing technical information for various audiences.
  • Provide strategic program management support, including multi-year program planning and coordination.
  • Offer expert insights on market opportunities and advise on industry-related market opportunities.
  • Support R&D technology research, including developing and implementing stakeholder engagement programs and workshop support.
  • Collect and manage R&D data, including project-level and program-level data.
  • Prepare and present technology and programmatic reports, presentations, and briefings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
  • 10 years' work experience in a relevant field, including internships, or 6-8 years' experience plus a master's or doctoral degree.
  • Leadership experience and industry experience, including internships.
  • Interest in energy efficiency and clean energy.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, including ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Team player and self-starter.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Requirements

  • Project and/or program management experience.
  • Model and tool development experience.
  • Contract and task management activities and tracking experience.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency or energy management systems in industrial or commercial facilities.
  • Experience in government consulting, supporting government organizations, public-private partnerships, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience facilitating a working group, including developing agendas and running web meeting platforms.
  • Proficient in database development and Microsoft Access.
  • Proficient in programming languages, such as Python, C#, C++, etc.
