Aon is seeking a highly skilled Casualty Broker to join our Power and Renewables team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on policy coverage, risk exposures, and coverage availability to clients in the renewable energy sector.
  • Lead discussions and negotiations with insurance markets to secure best-in-class terms, coverage, and pricing for our clients.
  • Develop and analyze exposure data, loss history, and unique coverage needs for submissions to insurance markets.
  • Collaborate with Senior Brokers, Account Executives, and leadership to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
  • Facilitate information exchange between clients, account executives, and leadership to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance markets to ensure access to best-in-class terms, coverage, and pricing for our clients.
  • Participate in new business development meetings and deliver industry and line of business-specific expertise to support business growth.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and industry publications to establish Aon as a leader in the renewable energy sector.
  • Act as a mentor for associate brokers and other team members to support their professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • 6-9 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on renewable energy.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Advanced problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Effective use of social media to deliver relevant information and support business growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or a related field.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Broker License in the state of residence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe.
