Power Broker

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Casualty Broker to join our Power and Renewables team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative and effective solutions to our clients in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice to clients on policy coverage, risk exposures, and coverage availability, working closely with senior brokers, account executives, and leadership.
- Lead discussions and negotiations with insurance markets to secure best-in-class terms, coverage, and pricing for our clients.
- Synthesize and analyze exposure data, loss history, and unique coverage needs to create comprehensive market submissions.
- Facilitate information exchange between clients, account executives, and leadership to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Draft quote comparisons and follow up on binders, policies, and endorsements to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Address market conditions and program design to optimize client solutions.
- Solve complex problems for clients and colleagues, leveraging your expertise and experience to drive results.
- Participate in new business development meetings, delivering industry and line of business-specific expertise to drive growth and innovation.
- Collaborate on thought leadership and industry publications to establish Aon as a leader in the renewable energy sector.
- Act as a mentor for associate brokers and other team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to drive team success.
- Input data into brokerage systems to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
- 6-9 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in casualty brokerage.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Advanced problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Effective use of business acumen and industry knowledge to drive client solutions and business growth.
